Why do you hate me, KEXP?

Aww what the fuck. You had to pick September 7-9, didn’t you?

KEXP is coming to Chicago for a special event, and I am busy that entire weekend. Even the Thursday!

Busy why, you ask? Well, that weekend is the Around the Coyote Festival, which I’m in all three nights. Splendid. Can’t go on Thursday, because we have rehearsal then, and I can’t miss rehearsal before a show. And, I won’t even be at the Coyote ~~Friday~~ Saturday, due to an awesome bbq in which I’m mentioned on the Evite.

BAH. I LOVE KEXP TOO. That’s all I listen to in the mornings. Well, that and El Debarge’s Rhythm of the Night, but whatever.

I have a feeling I’ll be talking about this BBQ again. Very soon.

Aside: August 31, at The Playground! Come have some fun with us. We’re opening for the Big Yellow Bus, which is always a blast.

He’s doing some super awesome stuff for Tympanic Theatre, and generally going out on auditions and trying to find ways to earn money without using a computer. Sacrilege, I know!

He was born in 1979, and has an unhealthy obsession for zippers, velcro, and any non-standard standard fastener.

His site’s been around since the early 2000s (awesomely old archives and wonderfully dated -and unfunny- FAQ) and at some point degraded into an derelict state, which he’s trying to fix. But, obviously, fixing things requires effort and dedication - two areas I scored low on in the ACTs.
